Metastatic Breast Cancer patients have been shown to have unique and complex unmet supportive care needs both nationally and globally.
The Secondary Breast Cancer - Enhancing Multidisciplinary Care Conference to be held at Glen Waverley, Melbourne on 18 and 19 March 2016 aims to address issues which arise from the emergence of oral/subcutaneous anti-cancer treatments, extended life expectancy and shared care of patients across the community, primary and acute settings.
Health professionals from all areas of oncology including medical, nursing, allied health, general practice, palliative care and consumer advocacy would benefit from speakers specialising in symptom management, treatment administration, advanced care planning and supportive care.
